My boss (makes over $100k a year) has probably over 20k in guns (ARs, bunch of AKs he got/built when they were cheap, various fudd rifles and shotguns) , plus a bunch of camo, NVG optics, scents, lures, all that shit. He's a lifelong deer hunter and past couple years has gotten into coyote as well.
I have a Noveske AR, a .22 rifle, and a RIA 1911 but most of my disposable income goes into tools for my home machine shop (recently picked up an old Mori VMC that needs a new controller), aiming to eventually go independent.

i guess but shooting is not cheap. Also nice stuff is not cheap. The 30rd mags for my 92fs were around 30$ each and I just took delivery of 500rds 9mm and 500rds 45acp combined price was 400 and change.
I say a big thing people underestimate with guns is the cost to feed them. These days you care looking at a few dollars minimum for every magazine of 9mm you five at the range and 10$ per mag for 5.56. want good full power rifle rounds, you are talking a dollar every time you pull the trigger and potentially much more than that if you get something like .338 or .50 though those are clearly not poor rag calibers.
statistically if you have 500$ cash to drop on a gun you have more liquid wealth than 50% of the US population. Poor in the US means you are penniless and un debt, if you earn money it is already all spoken for by the Jews, probably for the rest of your life.
