In my quite shitty neighborhood of paris (19th district, 20-1 couzin), we have Arabs, Blacks, Guadelupeans, and even Jews, all was well, and I truly mean it, aside from a occasionnal small crimes.

Now is quite different:

- Jews, thanks to netanyiahu's visit to paris, are under complete surveillance by the police. The only place where you'll see cops/militaries aside from public representation buildings are synagogues. This does not goes unnoticed, and fuel the feeling of powerlessness of ordinary (i.e non jews) citizens.
- Whites are quite split on that matter. On one hand, far right fucktards still believes that the Front National is going to make the slightest difference, and in the meantime spits on everything non-white.
On the other hand, liberal pussies keep on pussying hard, refuse to see any problem with refugees, current application of Islam in france, or even to discuss the fact that getting firearms could be a good idea.

One thing you have to understand is that french command of the army and police are mostly a bunch of pussies and very preoccupied by costs; so it took a mass-murder to make them realize that mabe some patrols would be effective, and that those nice guns we had weren't very useful if they sat in the armory (reminder than in the 2000s the french army troops had no munitions in their weapons when doing patrols in the cities, because they weren't trusted by their officers). What we see now is overreaction; it's not useless but it's close to. At less some zones are no longer critically undermanned.

About hateful bigots, I don't know, I might be biased, but it's pretty cosmopolitan here, so it's hard to say that there is so much hate taht it could really degenerate into civil war. Of course people rant about the foreigners, but it's a national pastime. Crime is mostly intra-ethnic. You have no big community that could really endanger the country, and even arabs from two different regions don't like each other.
Last time I discussed with a social worker he said there was no massive influx of refugees from syria. On a sidenote, we get refugees almost constantly. We got serbs and kosovars in the '90s (that got to gang wars against each others), and so on... It all calms down after some time.
More than the refugees, the main issue in France is that unemployment benefits are used to buy peace and make the people shut up. But since it cost a lot the other socialist institutions are getting dismantled, and the taxes are skyrocketing.
So as long as there is money left, everything is fine, but if the indemnities stop being paid, it's gonna be a bloodbath. Unless we got massive law reforms, but I wouldn't count on that.
