Ballistics are going to be pretty much identical even comparing standard pressure rounds to +p. What are glocks rated for?

I was just wondering if the ballistic difference in going from 1225 to 1300 would justify the wear on the gun. Or if the extra velocity could even be a bad thing (over penetration)

I shoot standard 124 and occasionally 147 gr Gold Dots with my glock 19. I don't fuck with +p. Probably wouldn't hurt it, but why wear it out faster even if that is all it does. Definitely not using +p+

Underwood ammo. I just went ahead and ordered 100 rounds of 10mm 180gr bonded JHP advertised at 1350ft/sec, as well as 100 rounds of 9mm bonded JHP +p advertised at 1225ft/sec.
They both use Speer gold dot bullets.
