To add to this: having a parent realize that their child wasn't an innocent angel and made a bunch of charges on their credit card without permission was always a good laugh.

Good times. Fuck Gamestop though. They caused me so many problems that I refuse to buy anything through them again. Also, never get a refurbished system from Gamestop. Those drunken monkeys screw it up half the time and the actual manufacturers will not repair a system opened by anyone else.

I went from being super hyped about it to not wanting it at all. How the fuck do you design a trigger meant to be used for quick firing, yet it suffers from hammer follow? If it didn't suffer from hammer follow, I'd be willing to fork out $400 for it. As it is, I wouldn't pay more than $200.

I have to admit, I'm glad I waited for some reviews before ordering it.

My system is shaving my ass, dick/balls and the area inbetween. Afterwards, I use one of those showerheads connected by a hose to the wall, and unscrew the handheld showerhead.

Make sure the water is tepid, and fill yourself up until you feel some pressure, then go to the toilet and open the floodgates. It'll feel weird, but it works. Do that about 3 times, 5 to be extra sure. It's normal to be extra gassy after this so dry your ass off and get your SO to buttmunching asap

Mine's 3x30. I never got a chance to look down any of the x1.5 ACOGs (even though I thought it would be neat to get one) but I've been told by many opinionated people that they're extremely shitty. I'm sure they work better for some people than for others, but I doubt they're as bad as people say.

For me, x3 is sitting pretty. Now I'm just waiting for my AK to come in so I can take both of them shooting (that is, assuming I decide to drop $200 on ammo for the AK rather than $270 for plates that I have absolutely no use for.)

The AK should get slightly more choked if you pack wet snow into it but the AR will

>Be frozed solid day 3

Assuming you don't strip and dry it every night.

good to know, I haven't seen any aluminum 10rd ones. I've already got the Pmag 10rd. and I think they weight almost as much as the hex 10/30. But that is not my issue. > I'm pretty disgusted by the fact that if you do want le meme engravings you have to have pictogram selector markings and NE's company name on it
Yeah you should definitely have the choice. Some people it might not care at all and even like it a bit.

>despite the fact that they aren't manufacturing the firearm, you are
They are still doing 80% of the work anon. If I painted a landscape with trees and animals and left room for you to paint a house and truck . would you still tell me that you made the painting?

Like I said though, I do agree that the Nugget Enterprises thing should be completely optional.
>>
>>28447967
It's just like any 7075-T6 lower, anon. Most of the 80% lowers out there come from one or two distributors, if I'm not mistaken, and people buy them en masse and put their dank rollmarks on them for resale.
I could be wrong about that, but really, the quality isn't any better or worse than other 80%s of its type. Just buy one and creme de la meme with me >>28447754
>>
>>28447983
That's not too bad. They do look cool and the engravings for the giggle switch would go pretty well with binary trigger in >>28438746 thread.

But really the "NUGGET ENTERPRISES LLP" really does put me off from getting one, aside that any of the engravings don't really interest me all that much. A foxhound one might be cool though.
>>
>>28447967
>They are still doing 80% of the work anon
They aren't doing shit, they just ordered forgings with the flash milled off and engraved to their specifications and put it up for sale.

There are ~10 forges actually making lower blanks in the US. Some of the big companies do their own finish milling, but most everyone else gets them another 20 or so big machine shops with 4 of those doing most of the heavy lifting.

A finished lower receiver (100%), anno and everything is running the high volume outfits somewhere in the $7-$12 range.
>>

What's a good flash hider to replace my a2 birdcage with?
>>
>>28449410
Depends on what you want out of it. The A2's a pretty decent flash hider, really.

If you just want the best flash hider you can get, the BE Meyers 249F is great. If you want to eventually get a suppressor, there's various flash hider mounts available from Surefire, AAC, Silencerco, etc.

>>
>>28449549
I'd rank Surefire and Silencerco above AAC, yeah.

BE Meyers also offers a version of the 249 that is compatible with Silencerco suppressors, that's a nice option, although I don't know how it performs relative to the 249F because the prongs are a lot smaller.
>>
>>28446455

Incredibly embarrassing.
>>
>>28449581
Yea I just looked at the BE Meyers one, I'm very interested. I'll dig in to that other one though. Sounds like the best of both worlds.
>>
>>28449623
Just keep in mind that the standard BE Meyers is long as shit. Great if you've got a short barrel you want to bring up to 16" (13.7" works with the 249F) but it makes a 16" barrel come in well over 18".
>>
>>28449641
Really? Shiiiiiit. Is that a huge difference in "cqb" scenarios?
>>
>>28447967
Nugget Enterprises sourced the lowers from Black Creek Precision
(unique forge code in the pistol grip area and finish gave it away)

http://blackcreekprecision.com/parts-accessories/lower-receivers/bcp-80-lower-receiver-5-56mm-300-blk.html

They are not anodized but it seems like they sandblasted the lowers to give them a nice matte finish instead of the ugly raw forging look.

They also have a 4-40 Upper reciever Tensioning Screw hole pre threaded just like Aero Precision did with their V2 lowers not too long ago.

Quality 80% lower, just don't fuck it up milling it out with a drill press like a cheap nigger so you don't waste 80 memebucks.
>>
>>28449666
That kinda depends on a lot of thing. You'll have to decide if it's an issue. Most decent aftermarket flash hiders are going to be longer than the A2, but the BE Meyers is especially long.
>>
>>28449712
Hmmm, well I have a 16" standard barrel, but I suppose it's worth it for the benefit

Non ping?
>>
>>28449978
if the prongs on a flash hider are equal length, the your muzzle device acts a tuning fork and will ping/ring when shot.

Some flashhiders such as the surefires, AAC, etc exhibit this while other take measures such as asymmetrical scallops or unequal prong lengths to minimize said ping.

So my LGS got in a LWRC M6IC-DI in and I can't help but feel LWRC missed a trick.

While it is the IC full ambi lower, the superb M6 polylithic upper/rail, their compact stock, and ditches the piston which are all things I love; they did not include their skirmish sights or ambi sling plate.

For $1599, it is still a fantastic mid-high end complete rifle, with far more features than a competing DD. Missing out on the little accessories that are included with LWRC's more expensive piston guns though is disappointing.

Easy mode: find a friend with land. Get in your tree stand by 6, 6:15am Wait till 10:0am. Should be something to shoot. If not, 4-6:00pm. Deer are most active at dusk and dawn, but you want to be settled and still for a long time before the deer shows. Up. Shoot the deer between the top of his shoulder and a little closer to the base of the neck. Watch youtube to figure out how to clean it

I'm looking for a free float rail for a 12.5" pistol build I am working on and there seems to be a lack of OD green rails. Is OD green just not as popular as FDE? Would my best bet be to just find a rail that I like and ship it somewhere to cerakote it?
