Only thing I've ever seen as far as aftermarket is a grip plug like they make for glocks, and some guy makes some kind of replacement guide rod. I haven't looked in a while, but I doubt there is much more. The interest in them seemed to lose steam.

It's funny but just today I was innawoods and I heard 4 scream noises. They were about 4 seconds long followed by a 2 second pause. Weren't wolves or Coyotes, didn't sound like a Raven or a Blue Heron. Never heard anything like it and definitely wasn't people.

I've only fired a few thousand rounds through it so far. Some people claim it has some kickback to it but as a scrawny ass 130pound guy I can tell you I have no issues going through a 200 rounds at a time. I really like the grip on the BRG as compared to the rest. Trying to remember what I've all shot through it usually what ever is the cheapest and I haven't had a single miss fire yet.

I think the biggest issue with the VP9 is light springs combined with an open striker channel. I think it would be more reliable if the rear was closed off like on the Glocks and M&Ps; also some extra power springs. I think it's a fine gun, but of lesser quality than their other offerings.

Barrel length isn't really a big factor in concealment, grip length is. Think about where a gun will be carried. For most people, it's in an inside-waistband holster in the pants. The barrel is pointed down, into your pants. The grip sticks out from your waistline. When you bend over, the grip pokes out, a larger grip pokes out more and is less concealable.
