My brother put one on his 10/22, it's pretty good. The dot is fine enough for plinking small steel targets at 50+ yards. I'm thinking about getting one for mine.
I have a TRS-25 on my competition 10/22.
I've dropped it a lot, dinged it, and shot nearly 10k rounds in my gun through it and it still manages to hold a zero.
Had one on my AR. It's functional and holds zero. Do it.
Where's the cheapest place to get one? Wally World? Just buy it online?

I found the trs25 a bit too dim for my liking, even with fresh battereis. Could just be the one I had though.
OP, i have that sight.
It's good for the money and holds zero.
The diode sticking into the field of view interferes with co-witness. The Glass is small diameter meaning that in a very low light situation, it can take an extra fraction of a second to find the dot.
Those are my only gripes with it, for the price it can't be beat though.

also could look at spending about twice as much and getting the PA micro dot which I hear is pretty amazing and way higher in quality
