I have no experience with Navy stuff, though i spent a bit of time in the ATC as a kid.
What kind of clothes should I wear? Are chinos and an opentopped shirt okay? Apparently ill be given shoes, so i dont have to worry about that at least.

Yeah open topped shirt is a good choice. Open at least the top three buttons. Go for opening the bottom too, to just above your navel, if you have a nice flat hard stomach.
For bottoms some shorty short shorts. Bright white if you have them and I am sure you do.
A cutesy little rag on your hair is a nice touch. Bright blue or, again bright white.

Paint your toenails, I usually do orange or pink.
This is strictly Navy garb. If you get picked up by a flyboy and he wants to show you off/pass you around to his friends, go with something edgier. I did a dog collar and leather assless chaps number that had them knocking each other over to get at me. Big strong sweaty airforcemen is a good time baby!
