Hi /k/. I live in a high-crime American city and want to buy my first handgun for home protection and concealed carry, as well as for recreational shooting. I'm eyeing up the CZ 75 D PCR Compact.
Convince me otherwise.

Save your money and move to a low crime suburb.
nothing wrong with czs
>>28414838
you have a very interesting definition of saving money.
>>28414829
PCR is dope.
P01 is dope.
>>28414829
It is a decent pistol for CC.
Just practice with it, get comfortable and carry on.

Not OP, but where do you go for your mags for a CZ?

Not him but here

Where can I find a decent priced P01? It looks like they're sold put everywhere, or overpriced.
>>28415113
What do you consider expensive?
I picked up a P-01 day after xmas, the first CZ I've owned
I live in a blue state so I'm happy to even find one in stock
>>28414829
PCR is a fine choice, only issue right now seems to be finding them in stock
Get a RAMI instead.

I was seeing them for under $580 shipped. The shops around me only have glocks and fudd guns. I'm angry at myself for not buying one when I had the chance.
Is the trigger as bad as people say it is? I love the feel and look but haven't been able to shoot one.
Former PCR owner. Great pistol, shot tight groups and never jammed. I would have kept it if I didn't already own two glocks and a few rifles.

>first handgun
Get a compact revolver that handles +P.38 loads, like the Ruger LCR. You can't limp wrist it, there's no safety or decocker, and you can't fuck up and forget how to manipulate it. Point and click.

that webm.....what the fucking fuck.
>>28417858
WTF
>Not the CZ 97BD
Why are you so wrong, senpai?
>>28417871
only if you can't manipulate a slide or slide release would I recommend that

I've heard nothing but good things about CGW
I hear the 11lb double action is due to NATO's drop regulations, but the single action feels decent to me
Anyone with a 75comp or P01 that has these 16rd extended mags?

I'm curious to see how they look in a gun. Do they stick out more? The baseplate looks larger maybe,
>>28419328
i dont have that mag but it looks like they moved a +2 extension floorplate to a 14 round mag
it would look exactly the same as a fullsize with one of those extensions attached to its mag
>>28417759
This. The 2075 RAMI is dope.
>>28414829
Just make sure you want a decocker if that is what you are going for
There are other cz 75 models with different actions and safety options. Just make sure you pick the one you are looking for
>>28419328
P07 shoots 16 round mags and I CC mine.
Pretty based gun tbqh senpai
>>28417871
This is shit advice.
>>28414829
If you're so worried about crime wear a large coat and carry a pdw. In all seriousness you made a fine choice in pistol.
>>28419328
Standard 16rd magazine have a metal baseplate
