Don't get me wrong, I love guns but I'm a broke ass college kid. It's hard enough to find time to go and shoot, let alone stockpile ammo and buy a few guns every year. I'm a mechanical engineer (or studying it) which is a draw to both firearms and cars, but there's so little you can do with firearms at a university

Well, my paychecks are pretty widely varied because what I make depends on tips and how many events I work in a week. Though, I do ask for 20-25 I often get a lot less than that.
I live in student housing so my student loans pay for it, and I have a meal plan so my cost of living is very, very low. And over summer, I go home and work full time.
I basically put everything into an account and withdraw as necessary. But I usually try to limit myself to three guns per calendar year. Or thereabouts.
I would say that after I get a handgun and build this AR, I'm going to focus more on buying ammo instead of getting more mouths to feed. I've been thinking about selling my .300 BLK AR just to not have something that's uber expensive to shoot. If I could get even $1200 for it, it would finance the 5.56 gun and a few hundred rounds of ammo.
