Knife laws are all over the place in the US. Where I live you can't have concealed butterfly knives, concealed knives longer than 5", or concealed self opening knives (the ones where the blade shoots out at a button press). BUT if you get your carry permit you can carry literally anything that is legal to own within the state openly or concealed.
