Anyone know where to get MRE's on the cheap?
>>28381893
Easy. Join the military.
>>28381909
yeah no
>>28381969
>won't join the military
>but wants MREs so he can feel like a REAL warrior!
>>28381893
Why the fuck are so many of you idiots intent on poisoning yourselves?
>>28381978
They're incredibly convenient for family vacations innawoods--just pick out a picnic table or your own tailgate, heat the entrees, and share.
>>28382005
Just dehydrate some food
>>28382005
they don't taste that great they aren't cheap nor are they convenient and if you leave them in your vehicle you can destroy them regardless of their 7 year shelf life. I like MRE's as well but they aren't even close to what you are looking for.
Like >>28382017 said either dehydrate your own food or buy some dehydrated foods from camping stores. I promise you it will be 10x cheaper and they will last you much longer
>>28382066
I think they are fucking delicious. Plus its convenient to get a whole day's worth of calories in one meal innawoods.
>>28382206
Bruh. You telling me you can eat one MRE and your good for a day? Are you 4'9 and weigh 80 pounds?
>>28382206
What are you doing innawoods that only needs 1500 calories?
>>28382222
Not him but You only need 2000 calories in one day to sustain yourself without ill effects.

In basic we had to eat 3 a day and that was hardly enough.

Not him but I'm 250 and one a day on a camping trip and I feel good. I do space out the individual parts (usually the Main Course last, before bed), but at like what? 2.5k Kcal they are more than enough *food* to keep you going.
Get the Veggie Burger+Cheese pack from another one, best one in a case. I think it's #12? Been a long time since I had them (discharged awhile ago).
>>28382222
Fatass pls, the more you complain the more calories you waste
You can buy those shitty ones with granola bars and Nekkot cookies in them. If you want to waste money, of course.
>>28381893
Norfag here, American MRE's are fucking delicious. You have chicken fajitas, skittles, etc. They have very few calories tho, and little nutrition.
>>28382259
Theres only about 1200 calories in an MRE
>>28381975
They're also a tradeoff heavier-but-cheaper backpacking food compared to freeze-dried meals
>>28382238
2000 calories is only an "average" for someone who is like 5'8" and 140lbs or something. It's a basically meaningless baseline. I'm 6'1" 190 and my maintenance is over 3000 according to some calculator based on my activity level.
