If the police rush in and begin to lawfully or unlawfully, but wholly unethically, arrest peaceful protesters of the new tax law, the protestors can resist such an infringement upon the 1st amendment rights by exercising their 2nd amendment right to bear arms and open carry weapons capable of equalizing the power dynamic between civilians the police.
Open carrying a rifle has a distinct place in the freedoms guaranteed by the 2nd amendment.
Just because it scares people does not mean we should make it illegal. Is that really so hard to grasp?
