I usually wear ear-muffs, like the ones you wear doing work. Ear "plugs" don't seem to fit my ear right, so I go with muffs instead. However, I'm unable to get a good cheek-weld, and thus my form is all messed up. When I shoulder a rifle, the muffs would get in the way, or shift.
Surefire EP plugs.

I use Howard Leight Impact Sports, they are a little lower profile than regular muffs.

Thanks, I'll look into those.
Just curious, what sort've ear-pro does the military use?

The double sided flanged 3M plugs for most folk. Cool guys get Peltor Comtacs to go with their radios.

I have these, they're decent. WalMart had been selling them

I use Sordin Supremes, but I paid for them out of my own pocket, I really don't want to be deaf by 30.

Will they fit with a MICH?
>>28373221
They do. I just had to adjust where the pads were inside because I have the headband version instead of the neckband.
Comtac IIIs

Howard Leight Impact Sports if you're on a budget.
MSA Sordin for something a little nicer.
Peltors Tacticals are my favorite.
A set of gel ear cushions will do wonders for comfort wearing the Peltors too.

I typically wear these>>28369637 with some "green meteor" ear plugs I get from work underneath them. I'll only double wrap my shit if I'm in an indoor range.
Does anybody know some that fit well with M-Frames or other types of shooting glasses?

Depends on unit.
Non-combat/large majority just use plugs.
Radio guys if in the field use Peltors.
Artillery and tankers get issued...Peltors I think? They might have to personally buy it actually, I'm infantry I'm not sure.
Ear plugs for infantry majority of the time. RTO and PL usually have Peltors.
In SOF you'll see usage from any name brands with high cut ACH's (or lows with the pads rearranged like RTO's and such so), bumps, etc. They get issued a pair, but depends on unit.

If you're a Marine, nothing, buy some cheap ass ear pro from the PX or steal them from a maintenance bay/motor T lot
Never seen any Marines actually issued electronic ear pro besides MARSOC and Force Recon.
