Cock it a few times, dick with the controls a bit. An airshit that's just got a real barrel/mag in it shouldn't cycle properly, airshit internals are pretty different from real guns (intentionally to prevent conversions in noguns countries).

If the barrel is .45 inches in diameter and not 6mm(around .22, I don't remember the exact non-metric measurement), it's 95% likely to be legit. I've also never seen an airsoft gun with a rifled barrel. I've been out of airsoft since 2012, so I could be wrong if shit changed since then.

The KWA Mac 11 I had used mags that were a shitload smaller than legit M-11 mags. Also look at the internals, gas airsoft systems look nothing alike from their real counterparts. My KWA also had an all-polymer frame. If the seller gives a better pic and the upper and lower don't match colors, ask where it came from and what kind of work was done on it.

If you're op and buying class 3 weapons (for the sake of this thread, I'm assuming legally. NFA laws are nothing to fuck with) without knowing what you are doing, skip the deal and do more actual research. There are field manuals and schematics of Mac models online and free. I'm not class 3, but I know even NFA MACs almost always run into the 4 digit range. You can also put one together yourself with parts kits after getting all your paperwork done. Hell, the paperwork would probably be the most complicated part.

Not that I know of. There are variants from Brazil, South Africa, and of course the U.S. Its a simple design so its possible aome little shop in Spain could churn some out, but the problem is that I don't think NFA items could be imported for civilian sale since the gca of 68 (I could be wrong on that though)
Bottom line, if you are going to go through the hassle of buying a smg legally, don't deal with shady sellers. There's plenty of legit sellers, and you don't have to worry about your shit getting confiscated.
