On the negative, he's guilty of tacticool bullshit, relatively little knowledge of guns in general and poor safety habits. He gives of the "check out these cool toys" vibe as opposed to responsible use.

It's fun to watch if you know he's a joke. It's a sketch comedy routine without breaking the wall of realism. The only thing he ever did (to the best of my knowledge) that was outright fake was the quad-copter with a AR on it, that was all CG for call of duty or some shit.

I went to hickock45 and he shoots anything and everything in his cool range setup and he shows you how to take apart and the guns and shows you how they work

This. I actually stumbled upon his videos when I was getting into guns and was like "wow that's cool", then naturally moved to better/more advanced channels such as Forgotten Weapons.
So watch him without remorse, but with a grain of salt. But you should do that with anything you see online anyway.

On a side note, he's a lot of fun to watch. The accent and some of his style can get pretty cringy, but at least hes in on the joke vs some other youtube gun channels that are completely seriously when trying to show how tactical they are even though theyre middle aged and never been in the military or LEA. His vids are more for fun, he dresses up in different costume, brings in way bigger stuff then most others guys and blows something up, but you don't learn anything so you go to colion noir or Hickok for the actual review

He's mentioned on podcast that he actually posts here pretty frequently. He's alright if you take him for what he is, a channel for the casual gun hobbyist. As someone else has pointed out, he's a gateway channel for younger cawwadooty kids to get more into guns and gun culture, which is a great thing for us. In today's political climate we need people to be interested in learning more about firearms, especially the younger generations which generally lean more liberal. And FPS Russia is a good way to accomplish that.
I feel like he is kind of like the pewdiepie of gun culture. Meant for a more immature audience.

On a side note, Russia lives like 2 counties over from me, and i've seen him in passing at two different gun-shows (gainsville and dawsoneville), And both times he actually spoke in and out of that stupid accent, told people to look him up constantly, and tried to get free shit from every vendor there and at the gainsville gunshow that i saw him at, one vendor told me he kept pressuring a young woman into buying something she didnt want when she was just looking at smaller handguns to the point where she was visibly uncomfortable with him and the vendor actually had to politely ask him to go the fuck somewhere else.
