Well, a conversion stock alone is $300, so even by the "bullpup is a bullpup" way of thinking, you would be coming out ahead.
The last listing I saw was retail and they wanted $900. Probably not worth that, but I haven't seen one sell.

Well, it should be legit then. $500 would be a good deal, and you are doing better than that. New, these would cost $250 or so for the commercial (no lug) version, in the 1980's.
