I'm thinking of getting a Rhino if they've improved the Alfa Romeo trigger they were using. I heard the stage 2 trigger kits from Chiappa were pretty good. I like my handguns really big so they soak up the recoil for target shooting. I would normally be inclined to pickup the black 6" version but it looks like you can get a 4" version with both .357mag and 9mm cylinders. The ability to shoot 9mm in it really tickles my danglies. Is there any reason not to get the model with two cylinders?

Save up your money for a Mateba

I don't want a Mateba. I have enough guns that are no longer made and parts are hard to get.

That looks future as fuck

Jesus Christ what an ugly fucking gun.

I have the .357 40DS. Bought it a few months ago. Really fun gat, but the price is a little much. Got mine for $801 and that was the cheapest I could find it.

Thats kinda what revolvers are going for now. S&W 686's are something like $800 +tax. Rugers and other brands are cheaper, but are unanimously not as nice.

Hows the fit finish and feel of it?

It's pretty. I like it a lot, but I can't shoot for shit with revolvers.

Link to the 9mm cylinder?
Protip, all the models are exactly the same with different barrels bolted on.
>>
I really want to buy a Rhino, but they do feel pretty cheap. They don't feel like an $800-1000 gun should at all...

The Unica 6 is nice and all but he could buy anywhere from 3-6 Rhinos for the price of one Unica. Then he has a very nice handgun with absolutely zero replacement parts, if a single piece of that gun takes a dump you have a wall hanger. Hell grips can and do split on the Unica and you're boned.

Looks like I can get the regular 40DS from RSR for $762. The 60DS is $802. That's not bad.

The alternatives are S&W .460 8.5" for $1k, or the 7.5" bone collector for $1300.

Pic related is my dream gun that I ended up paying a small fortune for.

However, I kind of want a little snubby Rhino with a 2 inch barrel for EDC. What do you guys think? Are they all they're cracked up to be?
>>
>>28340670
Will they ever put this gun into production again?
>>
>>28340670
They're pretty okay.
>>
Yes, get it. I just got mine and it's amazing. I even got a free gun powder tattoo from holding it wrong. But seriously, just get it.

Maybe if someone buys the manufacturing rights or after the patents expire and become free for everyone to copy.

Mateba Italia SRL seems to exist, but they seem to sell only firearm accessories at the moment. I do believe I've seen some Facebook posts from the CEO saying they want to produce firearms again.

Not sure about the 6 Unica, but the CEO posted on Jerry Miculek's page about wanting to produce the MTR-8 and has plans for it in the future.

Nice! I imported one off an Italian not too long ago and I'm waiting for it to arrive in the states. How often do you shoot yours?
