So the ATF publishes a nice month by month listing of all the FFLs in each state.
How many does your state have?
https://www.atf.gov/firearms/listing-federal-firearms-licensees-ffls-2015
>only 60k 03 FFLs
I'm kind of shocked it's that low
>>28327705
60000? Huh?
>>28329495
>FFLs by type
>03
>60k
it's a chart with columns
>>28329521
I must be looking at the wrong charts because I don't see any states with that many type 03 FFLs
>>28327705
Well east coast states are small so not much demand for a lot of FFLs when your state is smaller than a west/mid west county
>we are number 1 for 03 FFLs by over 1,000
Makes a lot of sense.
>>28329564
Oh never mind that's the total for all states
>>28327580
>Missouri
>5,020 FFL's all types
huh. Thought it'd be higher.
>86 06 FFL's, 282 07 FFL's
>282 people licensed to manufacture firearms
Not bad.

There is more than one document in that link.
Jew York, month of December.
>1992 of any type
>1752 type 1
>12 type 2
>0 type 3 ;_;
>40 type 6
>179 type 7
>23 type 8
>5 type 10
>1 type 11 (only 30-35 miles from me?)
honestly, none of this surprises me.
A little confused on the website. Does each month's report only show the licenses renewed in that month, or is it an aggregate of each month preceding it?
>>28329742
There's only one row that has FFLs by type and at the beginning of the year (well, February) there's actually MORE 03 FFLs than there is now (December).

>Well east coast states are small so not much demand for a lot of FFLs
Didn't look at PA.

nice shilling

You should look at the OP.
>YFW
>>28332832
Check a few and see if the numbers steadily grow through the year

>tfw I just noticed my LGS is a type 07 machine gun dealer in Commiefornia.
>tfw that mp5 and ppsh-43 he let me hold were really full fun
