Who are the best AK manufacturers for 2015? [pic semi-related]
>>
There are cast trunions on USA made "Kalashnikov brand" rifles. Kalashnikov Concern has no relations with Kalashnikov USA aka "RWC Group". The best manufacturers are Molot, Saiga, and Arsenal.
>>

>Kalashnikov USA
kek
Their shit is hilarious.
>Russian AKs banned
>We'll just steal the name and pretend they're the same thing
>Meanwhile the only product they've put out, that I've seen, was previously imported converted Saigas.

As far as your question, my vote is for DDI.

The best AK manufacturers in 2015 are you, the home builder.

The best AK you could buy is the one you built from a parts kit at home and an 80% blank.

At the very least its the one Hilary can't take from you next year.

Let me guess your WASR is the greatest AK ever and it only costs so much? You're gonna need a lot more than anecdotal evidence, or is that all you have?
>>
>>28322780
>shits on kebabfag for anecdotal evidence
>literally every post is anecdotal evidence

>>
>>28322785
Sorry MB I don't own a WASR.
And I don't even hate Arsenals, I just wish they would quit letting shit rifles go through their non existent quality control.
For their premium pricing, you should get a defect free rifle.
>>
>>28322609
What's wrong with the Zastava m70s?

I've had zero problems out of my opap even on a steady diet of shitty dirty tula
>>
>>28322793
Everyone makes a defective product, even some custom makers. If you aren't checking your AK, any AK, before purchase then its not the fault of the manufacturer because Boris showed up to work drunk and slapped shit together that day. That's something the end user should be verifying. Do you buy a car without testing it? I surely hope not. For premium pricing you had better be checking for defects.
>>
>>28322785
It is funny how you defend them to the death though.
Why is that?
I notice you don't post in the /akg/ anymore, is that because all the poorfag rifles, or the ZenitCo ones that put your, albeit very dope, plum Arsenal to shame?
No need to hide your shit.
Let's see some of your stuff from "back home" in Bosnia.
I'd love for you to actually produce some OC instead of merely shitposting and shilling.
>>
>>28322803
Fair enough, but if you are expecting and paying for a premium product and don't receive one, the customer service should be there to back up said product.
I wouldn't expect Arsenal's non existent "customer service" to be of any help, should some unknowing AK buyer get a fucked up rifle.
>>
>>28322806
My arsenal is awesome, it calls for my defense. I made like half a dozen posts in AKg and then realized it was just the same people talking about the same shit. I just got back in November, next time I go I'll take pictures of my OSA and an rgd.
>>28322813
Yes they should be there to back up your product which is exactly why I got free lifetime warranty from the distributor that way if it needs replacing its done by my LGS and their distributor rather than dealing with Arsenal. It's just how the business works.
On the subject of CS, S&W has amazing CS.
>>
>>28322785

How the fuck is anyone going to provide anything other than anecdotal evidence? Even a video review is anecdotal evidence.

A bunch of user reviews is the best you'll get.
>>
>>28322825
I provided my experience at which point anon said it was anecdotal then proceeded to base his argument around the same principle, scroll up
>>
>>28322716
isnt it 10rnd for ranges and tournaments and 3rnd for hunting?
>>
>>28322836
indeed but as you can see i am clearly neither hunting nor on the range, this is a legal grey area.
>>
>>28322818
Both those are the same guy BTW.
Just want you to know who you're talking to.

/akg/ is fairly repetitive, but that doesn't mean you can't lend some knowledge to the freshbloods.
You do seem to know quite a bit (or can fake it fairly well) about AKs, and I only give you shit because I know you're more than willing to dish it back.
Really though, Arsenal's QC has taken a dip and it's been showing.
Who did you get you rifle through; that gave you a lifetime guarantee?
A LGS?
>>
>>28322832
But multiple experiences becomes more than anecdotal, it starts to be proven.
That's what the scientific method is, multiple experiences, shown over time.

>Ask a Question
>Do Background Research
>Construct a Hypothesis
>Test Your Hypothesis by Doing an Experiment
>Analyze Your Data and Draw a Conclusion
>Communicate Your Results

So if multiple times it been shown to be true, doesn't that make it more than anecdotal?
>>
>>28322706
In Germany, magazines are not a legally relevant gun part, 100 round drum-mags can be bought by a toddler.
Restrictions only apply if you use the gun for a sporting event, 10 rounds or hunting, 2 rounds.
Using larger mags for pinking is fine .. unless the range is run by extreme fudds.
>>
>>28322850
Yeah I'll drop in again. I'm young but have had AKs for close to a decade now, and no point in being here if you can't deal with the bantz. I've been shooting AKs since I was 7 so close to 20 years now I got my lifetime through my LGS distributor, they go through Davidson's I believe.
>>28322854
It could be proof if it was representative of a certain sample.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anecdotal_evidence#Scientific_context
>>
>>28322836
For hunting you need a 2 round mag.
Hunters are allowed to buy as many long guns including SBRs (over 60cm collapsed) as they like.. but they have to come with a 2 round magazine.
So a hunting AK, would be sold with bit of plywood stuffed into the mag, making it a hunting rifle, removing the limitation is legal, but you'll have to put it back in for hunting.

The RAS is actually trash, WASRs only were because century is retarded as fuck, WASRs were one of the main AKs used in the Balkans and they were fine there
>>
>>28323122

I've put about a thousand rounds through it and it shows no signs of any sort of problem. Never even a hiccup.

I think the stuff IO made in North Carolina was fucked because their production staff were... well, they were in North Carolina. That place is what would happen if you lobbed a bag of crank into a chimpanzee cage. But is haven't heard anything bad about the stuff they've made since moving to Florida.

Of course, this is the internet. IO could spend the next 100 years cranking out perfect guns and there would still be basement dwellers who have never even seen an IO product saying "Hurr, durr! Bad guns, hurr durr!".
>>
>>28323109
I've got an IO too. They're over-gassed and the bolt carrier is designed wrong. The combination of the two will cause them to fail if it's fired without a recoil buffer installed. They also deviate from the AK design in a few other places but I wouldn't know if that compromises the rifle at all. That being said though, with a recoil buffer I've never had any issue at all.

Just got a high power recoil spring installed to help with the over gassing but I haven't been able to take it out to the range yet
>>
>>28323120
It's not the barrel that's the issue.
It's the shitty korean cast trunnions.

i sometimes visit the range with someone i know and am thinking of getting a wbk in the future

just not sure i should go the way via my range or do a jagdschein

the range 2km from my home is only a pistol/shotgun range, but they also have a rifle range at another location
>>
>>28322108

If you have a file and a drill you can get a vepr and convert it to look like a standard ak.takes all mags and better quality , just takes a bit to make it look like a AK.really easy all you'll need is wood for a ak , screw on retainer , AK gas tube , rear stock adapter and a bullet guide.
>>

I find it funny that in the US Norico 56's are considered ok or good, and have almost a cult following.

Here in Finland they are considered bottom of the barrel shittiest of the shit -tier. In the 90s they were popular because they were cheap but nowadays the only reason to get one is nostalgia. They are so bad it's kind of a meme in the shooting community.
