Intratec AB-10 also every reincarnation of the tec-9 I've shot was absolute shit. The only reason I've picked the AB-10 is because it's a huge lump of a 9mm with microscopic baby dick of a barrel. I don't know how this thing got mass produced; Also I don't know how people believe this thing is suitable for full auto when it can't go 10 rnds without jamming.

Actually the reason I got to fuck around with one so much is because my friend got one from a questionable source we took it to the range put about 200 rnds through it during which it jammed about 15 times not even fucking with you then he sold it to some negro he worked with for twice the price.

I remember when I was at the range with my friend shooting that piece of shit. There were two college kids shooting clay pigeons. They shouted at my friend "HEY OUT WANNA SEE IF YOU CAN HIT ONE OF THESE WITH THAT UZI". Yes they actually called it an uzi as well. My friend actually took them up on the offer I don't think he hit anything. Had a good time though they were pretty cool.

I did a little QA with fun buddies after this whole hellish nightmare and they all told me these things where just bottom barrel turds, had a bad reputation with failure to fire and jams. I even ejected the mag with a cart sticking straight up.
Each failure to fire I had to eject the damn live round out onto the ground "which I rather disliked" and just kept trying, click, nothing.
I even thought there was something wrong with me and the aiming so I went to get my 9mm, and shot the bottle cap off a pop bottle on the first shot.
The reason it got the Uzi reputation is because of 80's movies, it looks like one.

I have done a few basic changes to it so that it doesn't jam as much. The gun itself is actually not that bad. The problem is the way they built it. The extractor to this thing sometimes has a hard time holding onto the casing. so what you get is either a failure to eject or the ejected shell is still in the chamber and not extracted, which would be really bad for a nignog back in the 90's since I'm certain he doesn't have time to extract the round mid gang fight.

If you want one of those guns that will work right, get the KG-99. Intratec merely "cloned" the KG-99 and the TEC-9 was the exact same gun with cost-cutting materials, hence why it sucked.

I recently got rid of my DC-9 but it was a fine firearm. Never had a jam and ate everything. Everything.
I like 'em. But of course the AB-10 isn't as good depending on year of manufacture, because the company started going downhill after the Crime Bill. Well really went downhill after George left, but that's a story for another day.

Garcia's problem was mostly marketing, and just being a stupid Cuban. George (and still follows this formula to this day) markets his guns towards the self-defense and LEO crowds. That's how the Tec 9 was originally marketed: great self-defense weapon and police gun. Garcia started using tits and ass and moved towards the "gangster" advertising.
