Is GP90 as good as they say? What makes it shooter farther than 5.56 NATO?

From what I've read it's has awful terminal ballistics. I've seen nato ammo enter some one in the chest and end up blowing out the ass cheek.
It's ammo made to be shot with the Stgw 90 and to accurately hit targets at 300 meters.
That's the only job it has.

And 2nd fuckup. (i shouldnt drink and write). Terminal balistics are just fine. No keyholing until about 700m. But I think it has a better penetration at 300m compared to standard nato.
The GP11 is where it's at.
