Agreed. Even though this particular bill has no chance of becoming law, it should still be extremely troubling that a substantial amount of representatives (That would never have to worry about such a law interfering with their own security) are advocating to hinder the rights of their countrymen. Even more alarming that those people were voted for, and put into office, by citizens. It shows that many people live in a delusional manner where they will gladly sacrifice their rights just to say "Well, we tried" when we all know such a law would do absolutely nothing to solve the issue and would only serve as an inconvenience/ attack on law-abiding citizens.
We must be weary of the future and any increasing support for idiotic bills. Because that number may grow if people are not educated.

Being able to keep the ancient right that all free men have to protect themselves is more important than a lot of things.

I know for sure that's it's more important than the "right" of two men (who, in all likelinhood 99.9% of the time, no one will bother for their activities in the bedroom, besides the 0.01% chance of banter) can get "married" with the approval of the state.

I'm not one of these Moldy Labia types, but you have to understand that having any party views you as a stupid prole who will exchange for some temporary pleasures and cable TV the basic distinction that has always separated free people from slaves, whether you're in the Greco-Roman world, or ancient Egypt, or the ante-bellum south, probably doesn't have your best interest at heart.

Cattle don't have the right to defend themselves. Slaves don't. Citizens do. It's as simple as that. If you'll give it away for Will and Grace on TV and the ability to buy narcotics unmolested, then you are a very stupid person.

I'm not talking about the claim that Snopes list:
>During a trip to North Vietnam, Jane Fonda turned smuggled messages from U.S. POWs over to their captors.

I'm talking about the fact that she posed with the enemy of the United States for photographs and was acting all buddy-buddy with them. When a popular person who owes allegiance to the United States does something like that, they're hurting morale and thus aiding the enemy.

If somebody like Jimmy Stewart or Clark Gable went to Berlin in 1943 and posed in AA guns and had a photo shoot with Hitler, he'd have committed treason too. But Jimmy Stewart and Clark Gable weren't a fucking retards, so they didn't do that.

No, becasue it states that a SEMI-AUTO with such and such traits is what is banned. This bill basically bans ALL semi autos ever, except for maybe a few really obscure ones that are not mentioned. But even then, it says "All of X weapon, including..." so me thinks they are trying to cover their asses for things they didn't know about or have not been invented yet. They can just point to the law and say "well it says ALL of X type of weapon is banned, the ones listed are just some examples so your shit falls into that catagory because I said so so its banned" For fuck sakes they included the M82 and M107 in with the AR15s, these people are fucking retarded.

Really, because the way I'm reading it, it bans anything that can ACCEPT a pistol grip, fore grip, or threaded barrel. Just becasue your gun does not come with one of these things, if an aftermarket one can be added it it, it is banned. For fucks sake, the SU-16 is banned and it has models that have none of those features.

The real sticking point is the detachable mag. If it has a non detachable mag (and I'm milling to bet they will count mags that need tools to remove as being detachable) it's straight up banned.
>>
>>28317819

Those shysty fuckers. At passing glance the text seemed to be the same as previous versions of the assault weapon ban, but isn't.
94 AWB text:
>a semiautomatic rifle that has an ability to accept a detachable magazine and has at least 2 of

proposed 2007 AWB text (went to 1 feature instead of 2):
>A semiautomatic rifle that has an ability to accept a detachable magazine, and that has

proposed California 2012 AWB text:
>A semiautomatic, centerfire rifle that does not have a fixed magazine but has any one of the following

current NY AWB (as of 2013):
>A SEMIAUTOMATIC RIFLE THAT HAS AN ABILITY TO ACCEPT A DETACHABLE MAGAZINE AND HAS AT LEAST ONE OF THE FOLLOWING CHARACTERISTICS

new ambiguous text lacking the word "has" before "any 1 of the following" (anyone who did better in English class in school than I did want to confirm if the "capacity to accept" part applies to the second half):
>A semiautomatic rifle that has the capacity to accept a detachable magazine and any 1 of the following

>If it has a non detachable mag (and I'm milling to bet they will count mags that need tools to remove as being detachable) it's straight up banned.
Woops, just popped into my head after reading your post that it's worded as the action must be disassembled instead of you need to use tools to remove the magazine (new text from a couple years back after bullet buttons became popular). Bullet buttons wouldn't be able to get around it but this would (and seems preferable to a bullet button due to not needing any tools):

That doesn't do much good when you live in a coastal state dominated by one or two big blue cities. Especially when numerous districts have more votes rolling in than there are living fucking PEOPLE in them. The Dems have voter fraud in swing districts down to a fine art.

I wish these dumb faggots would get the book thrown at them by someone having to explain to them that if you're going to ban these weapons from the citizens that you also have to ban them from police and military as they should also live by the same rules as citizens

If electrically operated guns become even remotely common, the law can easily be amended to ban those too, see how the NFA has been amended over the years.

dems literally rent vans and organize drives where they go gather up local illegal alien mexicans and other dems from other states, and then drive them in busloads to the ballots. then when based states like texas try to pass laws requiring government ID to fucking vote to prove you live where you say you do, obama and eric holder enact federal crackdowns to sue said based states and remove said common sense law

Wrote congressman, participated in open carry rallies, Went and bought a M1 Garand from the CMP.

Let me guess, you stayed home, smoked pot, and whined on 4chan for an hour about how muslims, women, blacks, and trannies deserve more rights than white men. Then you drove to your local grocery store in your hybrid blaring Bob Marley and picked out some gluten free yogurt.

I didn't see anything about Zastava on that list. Would they still be considered "terrifying murderous warsaw pact weapons of mass destruction" or whatever?

The Dems that put this forward are doing themselves a disservice, Pushing this agenda ahead of the 2016 presidential election will drive out the vote against any democratic nominee. If they were to have any chance of winning the presidency they had to hold this card until after the election was won.

>They can if there's no voter ID
Have you ever voted in your life? Each registered voter is assigned a polling location, and each polling location has a role sheet of all it's assigned constituents. Even without ID, each name can only vote once, so if you show up and someone claiming to be you had already voted, it would be noted and corrected, that's how we know that in person voter fraud is extremely rare already.

This.

Also, misrepresenting yourself as a US citizen equals automatic deportation and an automatic lifetime ban from the US.
Why would an immigrant, illegal or otherwise, risk their status in the US like that?

You're living in a fantasy land. Stop believing propaganda.

>Voting by noncitizens alone could swing such races. A new study by two Old Dominion University professors, based on survey data from the Cooperative Congressional Election Study, found that 6.4% of all noncitizens voted illegally in the 2008 presidential election, and 2.2% voted in the 2010 midterms.

>Since 80% of noncitizens vote Democratic, according to the survey, the authors concluded that these illegal votes were “large enough to plausibly account for Democratic victories in a few close elections.” Those that might have been skewed by noncitizen votes included Al Franken’s 312-vote win in the Minnesota race for the U.S. Senate. As a senator, Mr. Franken would cast the 60th vote needed to make ObamaCare law.

Then how the fuck are they able to LEGALLY get drivers licenses? or sign up for health insurance we pay for? or anything else, you smacktard? have you been trying extra super hard not to pay attention?

>After a new law went into effect in January, more than half of all new driver's licenses issued in California this year have gone to people who are in the country illegally, the state said Friday.

>The California Department of Motor Vehicles reported it has issued roughly 397,000 licenses to people who live in the country illegally. A total of 759,000 licenses were issued in the first six months of the year.

>In an apparent attempt to beef up enrollment numbers, Obamacare navigators are now peddling their overpriced, inadequate health insurance on what is technically foreign soil — in Mexican consulates.

>One activist called the ploy “our responsibility.”

>“Whether they’re Mexican nationals or whether they’re United States citizens or whether they’re in transition– and if they’re there it is our responsibility within all of America to educate on the Affordable Care Act,” Enroll America field organizer Jose Medrano told Breitbart News on Wednesday.
