integrally suppressed firearms
usually more quiet than weapons that are suppressed with an attachment

but how do their purchases work? do you give the dealer money to put it on reserve and then they do the background check and they you file/pay/wait on tax stamp? what if you pass one and fail the other?

what happens when you shoot out the suppressed barrel? gunk the whole gun? if you can buy a replacement do you have to get another tax stamp?
>>
Incorrect. Interesting suppression is more about keeping things short

Basically

You replace barrel. Here in the US the "receiver" is the firearm. Idk how it works wherever you're from

which is also a suppressor
so would you have to get another tax stamp since it's a new suppressor?

I want to know this as well.
I assume you can buy whatever the fuck you want, as long as you have documents to prove you're allowed to have it. so if your first barrel/suppressor gets shot out, destroy the thing or have a boating accident and buy a new one.
BUT this is assuming that NFA tax stamps (form 4?) are not tied to serials, if they are, how do you tell ATF you want to buy a new one? send them the remains of your old part?
I have no idea how this stupid law works.

Okay so i have a mk3 22/45 with a bull barrel.
Is it possible for it to be threaded or am i retarded for buying a bull barrel mk3?
I've heard the barrel can be turned down but there honestly isn't much room.
>>
>>28313317
I think you need to send the suppressor back to the manufacturer. They'll destroy it properly and get you a new one. I don't recall if they transfer the serial for you or what.

I'm trying to remember a bullshitting session with a dude I knew who had a couple suppressors.

Alex Cross from OP's pic

Not necessarily, that would depend on how the weapon is put together. With some designs the barrel itself is a barrel full of holes which accepts a shroud amd baffel ala VSS or a short barrel with a giant "totallynotabaffelsystem" muzzle device on it like Sigs little number. A suppressor that you couldn't take apart to clean/repair would be kinda shit. So it's gonna depend on the design and as another anon said you best sending it to thw manufacturer for work. How that's works for a trust though...idk

God the NFA is so fucking stupid.

If I had to guess, I'd say you probably have to get a whole new tax stamp for the new suppressed barrel regardless of what you do to the old one.

correct me if i'm wrong, but SOMEbody makes an integrally suppressed rifle by drilling a bunch of holes in the barrel and shrouding that, right?
>a la paintball barrel with a sealed shroud

Yes and the ATF tried to shit all over them.

Basically you could just screw on a metal tube and it would be a suppressor.
>>

only rifle I can think of (kinda drunk) is the AAC Honey Badger, but the pistol in OP's pic was at least intended to be the Gemtech Oasis, unfortunately out of production.
