Should I get the USP9 or USP45?
>>
in b4 USP40
>>
i'd get the 9. big gun like a usp, the 9 would be really easy to handle and fun to shoot

45 seems weird outside a 1911
>>
If you dont get the 45 your a fag
>>
>>28311271
>USP
>even considering 9mm or 40

kek

USP Tactical or MK23 or go home
>>
>>28311271
9mm target ammunition is half the price of .45 and .45 hollow points have no advantage over 9mm hollow points in a personal defense scenario. Get a 9mm you will be able to shoot it literally twice as much.
>>
>>28311297
i want this and i'm not sure why.
>>
>>28311876
but duh fuddy five you only gotta hit em once buddy.
>>
>>28311930
I'm the same. I know that they designed it based on .40, but I don't like .40. But I still want one in .40.
>>
>>28311945
For me, it's a matter of the USP 45 smacking the bottom of my finger with every shot and being a little uncomfortable to hold what with being slightly larger than the USP 9.
>>
Usp9 with the light LEM/match hybrid trigger, how is this even a question
>>
>>28311962
>they designed it based on .40
yea, now i remember reading this and that is exactly why i would get it in .40. thanks for jogging my memory.

the ammo is cheap and the ballistics are good. fuck all the meme spouters.
>>
>>28311876
Eh volume means different things to different people. Given the size, build, and price of the gun 9mm seems like a waste. Obviously it's not but the USP deserves more to me.

Also .45 Super
>>
>>28311271
I have the .40 and the .45 and I love them. I wouldn't get the USP in 9 though. The P30, P2000, and USPc9 are all better.
>>
>>28311978
They are the exact same size tovarich. Only mags are different.
>>
>>28312145
No they aren't. The USP .45s are bigger in every way minus width.
>>
>>28312145

Which caliber do you want?

And why do you care what we have to say?

bump. This isn't a typical 9 vs 45 thread.
>>
>>28311271
get the hk45
>>
>>28311271
For the size, .40 or .45
The USP was designed around the .40
I have a USO.40 and I'm looking to pick up a threaded USP.45 for $800 this weekend, maybe.

Get an all steel 9mm with a 16-20 round mag.
...or a Five-Seven if you can find one.

not true it is designed around the mk23 that is a .45 the first USP was in .40 though. what round it was designed for dosnt matter at all they both are great guns but dont get 9mm to small of a round for such a big hand gun also pic related my USP .45 love it

this
>>28313932
>>
>>28313932
and the reason it was .40 was they wanted to be for law enforcement but almost all law enforcement have droped the .40 for .45 or 9mm
>>
>>28313932
Why are the bullets in the magazine backwards?
>>
>>28313942
if you look really really really really close you will see that they arn't and you are stupid
>>
currently thinking about buying a USP aswell. Wondering if I should buy a T or a CT and 9mm or 45.

Suggestions?
>>
>>28313975
if CT do 9mm if full T do .45. do the full size T.45 unless you want to CC it all the time
>>
>>28313986
im german -> no carrying
>>
>>28313992
the i would say full T.45 then compacts an't as fun at the range
>>
>>28313992
If you are OP then this is really important info to know for giving you advice. Get your gun in 9mm no matter what, and then make sure it has HKs match trigger or LEM match.
>>
>>28314745
why 9mm

Get a .45 or 40SW, the HK9 full size it's too big for that caliber !
>>
>>28315214
that's what I said idk why this guy is saying 9mm
>>

Much better getting a VP9

have you ever shot a fucking gun becuse last time i cheached the rounded end of the bullet goes towards the barrel and later that day i went out to the range a that mag fired all the rounds just fine.

Was it an HK? If it was and it did that you should send it back to HK to make sure the internal safeties are still working.

.45 is the only caliber worth considering in the USP. I love 9mm, but the USP and the 1911 are the two pistols that absolutely need to be in .45.
>>
>>28313955
>>28315543
Are you really new, or is this a pathetic attempt at a joke?
>>
>>28311271
Get a USP45, it comes with a flashlight.
>>
I've been trying to shop around for a USP9 Tactical. Am I delusional for hoping that I can find a NIB one for $1100?
>>
Is there a reason why people choose USP's over P30 or P2000? Aren't the P30/P2000 the "updated" versions of the USP?

Also it seems like nobody really cares about the P2000 despite it being a compact (glock 19 sized) handy little pistol.
>>
>>28317494
I actually really like the P2000, not sure why it gets ignored so. I'd like to get one eventually.

.45 ACP

On a side note, I've shot a USP .45 and hated the way it felt in the hand. Felt like I was holding onto a block.
>>
I loved how the vp9 felt in my hands, but want something that with a bit more durability. Does the USP handle and feel similar to the vp9?
>>
>>28315631
They wouldn't since they are so rare, this is what i am getting at.
>>
>>28315680
You meant .40 since thats what it was designed for, though it is one of the best .45s to own.
>>
>>28319859
Just get a P30 you dolt.

I only want a USP compact because of 24. The p30 and p2000 doesn't have that look

Try out a USP .45 first to see if you don't mind the slide release or the magazine release. If you feel comfortable using it, buy that.

Are all usp's spring loaded so you can shoot with one hand? Or only some models?

Yes all USP pistols have springs in them.

I'm getting either a p2000, g19 or uspc.
I never considered anything other than 9mm, but if I was getting a full size usp i'd go 45

Really, they all have springs in them? Fuck thats mad ty
>>
>>28312001

This anon knows his shit. The Match/LEM trigger is magical. Add a GG&G rail adapter and a light and you've got a fine pistol.

>/k/ hates .45 Auto

.45 blows no matter the gun it's in, guys. The USP9 is fucking cool OP, get one.
