it depends on how much you pull the stick and if it's loaded. if you programmed the PACS page (which isn't that bad since smart weapons and missiles self-identify) the OWS will tell you how much G you have available, plus with a sliceback it's about 6 G's so as long as you don't pull in a loaded roll and put weird asymmetric G's on the jet you'll be fine. it looks like maybe a 3 G maneuver.

That's not even close to true. POW treatment varied based on who captured you and where you were sent. If you were lucky enough to make it to America conditions ranged from pretty good to basically fraternizing with the enemy level.

During WWI, there was a POW camp in Center, Texas. The prisoners were German and Italian. Not only were they model prisoners who never tried to escape or cause a problem of any sort, but they were more than happy to do civic work around the county. They were almost universally loved by the locals because they were polite and good natured.
The biggest problem was security. And not keeping the prisoners in, either. There were apparently a few local women sneaking under the wire at night.

There were tons of Nazi prisoners of war who felt it was their duty to escape and cause as much disruption as possible, but when they did not commit murder during such escapades, they were not executed in secure territories. In fact the only German POW executions on mainland USA were explicitly spies or saboteurs.
Famously there was a U-boat captain who escaped (and arranged for the escape of 24 others from mainland US pow camps), most of whom expected upon recapture to be executed but instead were put on bread and water rations following their capture for a term corresponding to their escape. Meanwhile their brethren were murdering witnesses and concealing evidence during their retreat. Granted frontier POW camps aren't the epitome of luxury but to imply the English and Americans willfully mistreated POWs is bullshit, although war crimes did occur per all parties involved. I couldn't really care less what the French did to their POWs (lol they forgave many of their war criminals in the name of peace post war or enrolled them in less than honestly voluntary military service) and know full well the Soviet's murdered fascists in kind with the treatment they have received.
