That's Israeli. If you really want to use this mask you better buy new filters. Even if those are not expired (they have an expiration date printed on, usually) since you opened the filter, it can't be 100% trusted. A neat trick you can do is puff on a cigarette through the filter to see how good it still works.

Check expiration date.

I got an idea. Spray a room full of body spray or air freshener. Don't allow circulation.

Enter the room, and if you're not hacking to death, you should be fine.

Please advise that these things do have expiration dates.

Filter is old and scratched up. Don see exparatino date but the thing says the following:

That's a WWII German gas mask, which the Israelis copied. Consider it usable for costume purposes only, and the filter likely contains chromium, and asbestos, so don't inhale through it.
