What do you use to exterminate the coyote menace? Any tips on how to best exterminate coyote? I would like to start hunting coyotes, because those bastards killed my cat. Also, do you think it would be possible to capture coyote pups, and raise them as hunting coyotes, to help destroy more coyotes?

Some states classify coyotes as "dangerous" or "exotic", making them generally illegal to keep as a pet/requires a permit. Also trying to domesticate them into a "dog" is near impossible due to their natural instincts and being intelligent/sly like a fox. If you wanted any chance to turn them into a pet it requires constant attention and for one to be taken from the litter within a couple days of being born. Even then the chances are very slim.

we can't really give you any advice unless we know where you live and what the coyote around your area act like. if you live in the suburbs in AZ i say a suppressed 22 or a moded Benjamin marauder with piledriver pellets would be a great weapon, just bait and ambush. If you live on the Wyoming plains use a 22-250. if you live in Iraq use an rpg idgaf.
Just a thought, in theory what would a domesticated Coyote be better at in comparison to a dog? Its not impossible to domesticate Coyotes, it just needs to be done in the same method as the Russians did with a fox. IE fuck overt aggression to humans out of the species by controlled breeding.
I can't imagine their bite is worse, but they seem like they could make a decent hunting companion.

Pacific north west, specifically the high desert in central oregon. I'm not sure how coyotes act here, I just wanted some advice on how to get started best avenging my cat. my two dogs (rottweiler/doberman mixes) when they see a coyote they take off and chase it. Usually they're unsuccessful in catching it except one time the two of them had a coyote surrounded. Lots of barking involved and when I came up to them to leash my female and while the coyote had his eyes on me unbeknownst to me my male came right up to the coyote and locked his jaws around its back and lifted it off the ground and started to run away with the coyote in his mouth. I got him to stop - I wass afraid the coyote out of fear would do some damage. After my dog dropped him the coyote hid behind a creosote bush shivering it was so scared. I was able to leash my dogs we walked away a good distance then I unleashed them and we continued on with our hike.

Once he slowed down, I grabbed my shotgun from the front of the four wheeler and planted a shot in his hip before circling around and putting the last one through his spine in his neck. Getting clean kill shots is a bitch when you are bouncing along a pasture. The big issue is you'll never get an old coyote this way, they'll keep their head down in the grass. The cheapest and easiest method I've employed is my wife's .22 speed master she's had since she was a kid.
