Different guy, but to me? Yeah, plus it would lose all functionality. I mean it still shoots, but it will get dirtier and show dirt quicker with all those engravings. Sure you could manage for the first few range trips and clean extra good, but then you get lazier and stop wanting to put all that effort into cleaning every last groove then it starts to sit in your safe more often than not.

But then I noticed that it had a cover for the the dust cover and that the engravings that don't even match between the slide and the dust cover cover. and then there's some weird material wrapped around the grip.

It's not my first pair of grips from him, though. The first pair took about 3 months. This pair has taken well over 8. The last time I emailed him, he said he upgraded his shop and that the grips would be even better than what he used to make. Said they would be shipping the week after. That was months ago.
