Locale is not ideal for ballistics way of remove cheese, so I just use traps. Plus there's a cat here.

Just don't do Glue Traps. They're fucking evil, I don't mean that in a joking way at all.
Little things will tear their skin off and die horribly. Just use traps that kill quick, poison or mechanical are all better than inhumane and foul glue traps.
If you do use them though, you have a duty to check them several times a day and quicky kill any trapped animals you find. I reccomend a shove to just chop their heads of fast and neat.
Seriously though, glue traps will are beyond cruel, and that shit will come back to anyone that uses them. I wouldn't torture a quail before I kill it to eat it, I wouldn't torture anything that I want dead. Just kill them quick.

when i was poor i lived in a bit of a shack and had mice problems.
so at night i'd watch television and keep my pellet gun on the couch, and when they came out to feast, i'd pop 'em. then throw them in the yard. either the free range chickens or farm cat would eat 'em.
Oh man, when I posted this thread last night it gave me a 404 and I didn't see it in the catalogue. I was weary of using my pellet rifle because I didn't feel like dealing with a tard rat that I didn't score a vital on screaming like a tard running around like a tard. I hung out for a bit and the rat king emerged. Now it looks like an average sized rat but the paper beside it is actually a subway wrapper. So in comparison the rat is the size of a foot long subway club with lettuce, hot peppers, onions a dash of chipotle and sub sauce. With a bottle of Pepsi and a bag of apple wood smoked BBQ chips.

I've been using traps and an airsoft gun. Traps catch or kill them then if they're still alive the airsoft gun will put a bb through a mouse's skull and out the other side. Got 18 of the little fuckers so far. This is what happens when you live with slobs. Roommate also put out some D-Con recently too which is hopefully getting it dealt with upstairs.

If you need bait for traps I recommend "Golden" Oreos. They were hitting the traps in plain view with people in the room for that shit. Get a good mix of cookie and creme for it.
