I actually just rewatched Ep 2 yesterday and was wondering what the fuck is going on the whole time. Ep 1 leaves off with the jedi council refusing to train Anakin and Yoda warning Obi Wan about it. So right away I'm asking myself why he's still being trained if Obi was warned and Anakin is a fucking disobedient prick. Then little things kept contradicting each other. Obi Wan made the point very clear that their job was to protect Padme, not chase after the assassin, but he launches himself out of a 1000 story window to find the assassin. Later the Jedi council decides that Anakin should alone accompany Padme to Naboo, even after Obi Wan objects. This is the same jedi council that didn't want Anakin trained at all but now is sending him on important missions despite complaints of his master. And the whole while Anakin is actually really fucking creepy with Padme. He seriously reminded me of Eliot Rodgers. Yet somehow he gets the girl in the end?
