The paper mill only hires full time positions. You cannot just spontaneously go there, or even call in advanced, and ask for a position for a month. If you're working there, you're not going to school.
Gamestop literally gave me zero hours. I consistently called them and asked them what's up and they gave me shit.
Nearly any other establishment here has either no positions or they want extended part-time positions (not just seasonal shit).

In New Orleans I can get a job. I have a job in New Orleans. That's not the problem. The problem is not finding a job in general. The problem is that when everyone is leaving a dying town and the only establishments are fast food restaurants that every highschooler and druggy applies for, it simply doesn't make any sense.
