Hey guys,
So I took some noobs out shooting today and now I'm back home cleaning my funs.
I've only ever field stripped to clean my cz, but I was wondering if I should fully disassemble the gun to clean it?
I'd rather not, if I don't need to, as I'm afraid I won't be able to reassemble it correctly.
Can anyone give advice?

>Ever full disassembling a gun
It's like you want neverending nightmares

I only detail strip my guns when I first bought them so I can spray down the parts with preservatives and reassemble them.
After that, I only field strip them.

I detail strip everything I can get my hands on, every chance I get.
Let the horror flow through you...

Thanks guys. So the general consensus is, don't disassemble unless you're either very confident or a masochist. Got it.

My nigga. I suspect the impulse comes from elves whispering into my ears while I sleep. The lost parts end up in their vast armories where they prepare for war.

It's not hard and it does give a lot of insight into your gun and what can go wrong. Do it at least once and it is a very good lesson.
I'm afraid of full disassembly. I'm a good goy and send my p220 back to sig every 7-8k rounds

You haven't seen shit until you've disassembled an original Browning design.

Been there done that. Chinese puzzles are fun.

Maybe if you're disassembling a fucking G11 or some shit, sure. Or, perhaps if your definition of "full disassembly" is full retard shit like pressing the barrel out of an AK or something.
Many guns are pretty easy to fully disassemble, and at virtually no risk to the user. I mean, I can practically detail strip a Glock, for example, in under 30 seconds with my eyes closed, and I've never once had a problem with no bang coming out the end.
