Hello /k/ iv'e never actually thought i would need a gun in my life. Until my wife got mugged recently, now i bought one and am trying to convince my wife to get one too. what are your thoughts on the xdm9?

I own the xd .45
I like it, 1000 rounds through it so far, no issues. Look around online for a good deal. I paid $530 for mine, in lgs. After shipping and transfer fees, had i bough on line, id have saved about $40. Thats a new magazine.
The xd gear is nice, Israeli made shit. The holster is "ok", the mag pouches are great, tight but not too tight, and the loading tool is completely worthless.
