Aren't there only like half a dozen SSBN types in service?

But there are several that are no longer in service.
Anyway mine is the Vanguard class HMS Vengenance
SSBNX.
Type II microprocessor based systems, magnetic bearings instead of lube oil, and non60hz low rpm coolant pumps instead of natty circ.
Also not being 30 years old.
In regards to SSBNs, was/is the Ohio class good?
Also, would MIRV Trident II missiles (and the number of them carried) overcome other defects?

I'd say it was. It has so far served in its role well and even shown to be quite flexible in its role as seen in the Ohio SSGN.

You sound like you've operated one.
East coast or west?

4 SLBMs seems a little on the short side.
8 would be comfy, and 16 would be global power tier.
24 would be US-tier.

He hasn't:
1. It's not called that anymore.
2. It hasn't been built yet.
Typhoons have a certain something about them.

The fact they displace almost as much as a battleship?
