my favorite is that high ranking officers who have one job and one job only that they can do best is to stay safe and provide tactical oversight and practice command gonna gear up and go in front of the cannon fodder to play rambo into the most crazy ass pointlessly dangerous shit to avoid said command and the ability to keep tab on the situation. while they do this they routinely lose men get assfucked and outmaneuvered by enemy usually get injured and almost killed a hundred times.

Warrant Officers are WARRANT OFFICERS. They are not enlisted even if they started that way. Some officers started enlisted too, they aren't enlisted.
