less than 2k rounds of a caliber isn't hoarding, that's just want you need bare minimum if you shoot often.

Under 1k for most of your rounds is pleb tier. You must not shoot often or you'd know thats simply not enough.

5.56 - 2,400
.308/7.62x51 - 1,600
9mm - 2,100
.40 S&W - 800
.45acp - 1,000
.22lr - 5k+
7.62x39 - 1,200+
12ga - 0ver 500 I think (I don't shoot my shotguns as much)

If I have less than 1K rounds for anything, I feel a little anxious. I like to shoot and I'm a cheapskate, and the prices of ammo are pretty volatile because of perceived political issues. So I buy a bunch when its cheap, rotate the old stuff out to the range and shoot it all.

So right now about 2K 9mm JHP and 2K 9mm FMJ, 2K 9mm makaroiv, 2K 30-06 (that should last a while), 2K 9mm and 4K .223 (mixed, mostly green tip tho)

Wow, great catch.
You may have saved someones life /k/omrade.

I'm sitting on maybe 1.75 tons of ammo of all common calibers and hundreds of pounds of special snowflake stuff. Not posting pics as it's pretty spread out and I have a hard time wrangling heavy stuff but when I finally move I'll show it all.

I never miss an opportunity to help as many people as possible shoot as much as they want and have very happily gone through at least 18,000 rounds in the last 3 years at various ranges, shoots and meets because I want anyone to be as comfortable as they can be with their weapons.

In my perfect world I would have a dozen or more /k/omrades help to start something like the Appleseed for us but no one wants to work with me.

He did comment about the ~300lbs of powder I have on shelves, but just claimed he was impressed I was still able to find it.

Sounds about right. I've always got the impression that they cared way more about stuff like loose powder than ammunition.
Ammunition is pretty safe, even in a fir, except for your hearing or skin if it's only armored by a tshirt.

Pretending the MSM doesn't call 6 rifles and 5,000 rounds an arsenal that could feed an army something that we should consider
'
How many times have we seen national news reports of swat invading an otherwise law abiding citizens house for no other reason other than they owned several weapons and a few hundred pounds of ammo.
I keep mine spread out.
I follow the law to the letter but don't ever thing posting pics of a large pile of ammo here is a good idea if you live in a blue state,

if people were kind enough to just line up for you full schindler's list style... and you were using something like steel core, bimetal jacketed 54r, and the flight path stayed arrow straight, you could do a hell of a lot better than doubles
most bullets would practically be reloadable and undamaged other than rifling marks

And then when you reload it and fire it again the previous kills makes it even deadlier so you get more kills. Gotta get that high score man.
