What are the chances of finding and purchasing a Russian made SKS in Canada?
I really want a Russian SKS, but I have read reviews on online gun stores and most people end up with a Chinese or yugo SKS

Op here, some of the reviews on sites like this say that the gun is not as advertised russian

Just get one of the laminate Russian SKS' from Cabelas for $199
If you're that paranoid about them not selling what is listed
>???
Just go to your nearest Cabelas m8
>>28095234
Go to the nearest Cabela's store and look at them They have em on the racks, just pick a good one.

It wasn't too hard in my experience. I bought a russian sks for $250 in southern Ontario
>>28095234
That is the case in the U.S. Yugos are actually relatively rare here, I've never seen one.
Russian and Chinese are the two most common types: I got my '51 Tula from Canadaammo for $200 ordered

Bought mine from cabelas, 1955 russian SKS, great condition, go for it.
SKS Thread, then?
Mine (1950 Tula) "clicks" back and forth a few millimetres in the stock, which is infuriating, since this was the first gun I ever bought. How do I fix this, just buy another stock?

Find out where the missing contact is and put in some metal shims?
>>28101751
That might work. Got any idea how I'm supposed to find the point?
>>28101817
Not really. There might be a problem with the the screws holding it into the stock as well. I'm not an sks expert though

wanna buy me a Diemaco C7 (SA20)?
>>28101817
see that big metal circle on the stock? when you drop out the barrel/receiver assembly, you need to put cut aluminum cans in front of it inside the wood. or just tighten the screws down like youre supposed to, not like a pussy.
Someone wanna toss me like 10 of them over the border?
Reward: $2500

But that's barely any profit, americanon.

>Bought $250 a piece
>Sell $500 a piece
profit $2500, establish a secure supply line/alliance first. Then we go in for the big bucks.
The chances are 100%, are you retarded?
We have hundreds of thousands of them during around. I picked up a Tula and an Izevsk for $169 each
