Private armed security. It's fun, I've been doing private security for 2 years now, just became armed 9 months ago and I've have 2 shoot outs. Got shot in my hip first time because I just stood there firing back. Depends kne which company and what area you're in. I work Friday-Sunday 1800-0600 shifts so I always deal with the drunks and shady people. I've detained over 20 perps, maced 4, fought 10 and shot 2. And this is a part time job while I go to school. Getting my degree in paramedics.

Not as much red tape as being a cop. Only thing is if the guys you detain plead not guilty to whatever charge you'll have to appear in court, pay isn't too great and with the shootings I had to hand over my weapon for a month the first time which was the second month of being armed and now 6 months into it I got into another shootout and they still have my gun.
