The optic is fine: it's the identical placement of the VFG on both weapons that I'm calling bullshit on. Unless this woman was a tranny, I'm not seeing it.
Also, they picked two really expensive shit-tier pistols, the accessories on both rifles look cheap as fuck, and pictures released of "ammo" is standard 5.56 ball on stripper clips.

Hello, noguns. When you put a magnifying optic on an AR with a fixed front sight post, the front sight won't even show up in your sight picture. At 1x, it's just a little post at the bottom and barely obstructs your vision.

Obviously, the lower magnification you go, the more visible it will be, but the point is that they can be used in tandem with minimal ill effect.

If you're talking an etched reticle, yeah, I don't see a lot of those with front sight posts. It's not like the reticle goes away when your batteries go out. Red dots are a different story.

I can't even get shoulder contact shooting my SLR prone because of that tiny Warsaw stock. You have no idea how amazed I was the first time I used a barebones wobbly-ass 6-position AR buttstock.
The only reason I haven't sold my AK is that it's easy to clean, I don't care if it gets muddy on a hike, and I like 7.62x39 SST for removing pest hogs.
