Some companies, Smith and Wesson and colt come to mind, sell rifles from the factory with magpul furniture.
Magpul stuff is cost effective. Sure, a quadrail is a more effective mounting surface for that light and pistol grip, but a decent not airshit tier rail cost a lot more than magpul handguards.
