So /k/, im looking for a good cheap 12 or 20 gauge shotgun. I don't care what action it is as long as it can fire at least 3 shots in quick succession without reloading.
This gun will mainly just be for tossing around and having fun.
My budget is around $400 but the cheaper the better.
Any suggestions?

Recommend you go with the mossberg out of all of these. Usually you can pick up a good mossy 500 somewhere in the 300 to 400 window

maverick 88s are mossbergs. And they're basically the same as mossberg 500s.
You should be able to get anything on that list for 200 bucks.

I bought a winchester sxp the other day. Amazing gun, but get's little attention because it's rather new. Only downside very a moss 500 is the mossy has more aftermarket parts for now. sxp Has a nice gimmick of being the fastest pump shotgun on the market.

What? Using a band saw to cut a barrel is one of the best ways of doing it short of taking it to a gun smith. That's what I did once I got my stamp back to cut my Ithaca down to 13"

I can understand why you would want to cut a barrel down to 13" if you have a stamp, but to buy a gun and cut it to 18.5" when you can buy a home defense model shotgun that is already 18.5" just sounds wrong to me.
