Can anyone tell me what these are? They seem to be some kind of 90* scope, but what do they go on?

That's a wrench

a periscope for trench warfare ?

>Mein Karl Zeiss
>>
There is that one tubular part which can probably tell you a lot.
>>
>>28037250
very similar except these are only 1 90*, not 2 , and mine are 2 different sizes.

i keep googling ww2 periscope, etc. trying to find something similar
>>
You link 4 together so you can 360 noscope
>>
>>28036980
More pictures?
Any markings?
Do the pieces fit together?

It's a raw guess, but I'm thinking they're some kind of test equipment, maybe a boresight like another anon suggested.

The black dial is an adjustable eyepiece I think.

OP, what do you see when you look into the black end?
>markers or crosshairs
>magnified image
>super tiny image

Any markings on the box? Do you have any reason to think they are from WWII? They look like they could have been made almost any time in the latter 20th century. Apart from the green paint, I don't even see an indication that they're military equipment.

no numbers or any marking besides the made in switzerland as seen in picture
>>
It reminds me of this https://youtu.be/i7Gtn-OD6jg
but the lenses aren't facing the right way
>>
just very blurry when you look thru the end, way out of focus inside a house. seems too mangified, no crosshairs
>>
>>28037566
>made in Switzerland
That video was more relevant than I anticipated
>>
>>28037612
Try turning the black knobs a bit--the picture may come into focus.

If they're stuck hard, don't force them.
>>
>>28037566
The large one has what look like locking tabs. And if theyre focused too close they could be chamber/bore inspectors like another anon suggested. "Made in Switzerland" is in english so we're narrowing down country of use.
>>
>>28037566
Have anything for a size reference?
A bic lighter or something with a standard size.

Periscope typically used for breaching teams around corners or snipers peeking out from cover.
>>
>>28036980
Is off a field gun. The gunner sat at 90*to the gun on some anti tank guns. It's probably off a German gun. That should send you in the right direction
>>
>>28039085
I don't know. He said there wasn't a reticle or anuthing. Also it looks like the optic and objective lenses are on the wrong ends for that
>>
>>28039154
I don't know shit about artillery sights, but it's possible the reticle could be on a ground glass elsewhere in the optical system.

Some old motion picture cameras were a like that--you can pop off the eyepiece and then you've just got this magnifying tube with a diopter adjustment on one end.

OP, can you tell us where you got these from? Maybe that will provide a clue.
>>
>>28039839
OP says found with an airplane tachometer so maybe part of a bombsight?
>>
>>28039904
Ooh, I was sort of wondering if it was part of a bomb sight, but I don't really know what they look like.

I love mystery hardware threads.
>>
>>28037525
its 18254533
>>
>>28039904
>>28039937
>>28039944

just typing the 18254533 into google comes back with a serial number to a cessna built in 1962.

so it could be aircraft maintenance parts.

if you have the tachometer, maybe find out what plane or planes the tachometer belongs to.

the things look older than 60's era, and they look military, but who knows, 1962 was 53 years ago.

we really need more info, back story of the owner, if he had any ecletic hobbies or was ex military, etc
>>
These might be a part of a drift meter.
>>
Obviously this was a prototype AIDS removal device.
>>
>>28039984
>look older than 60's era
That was my instinct too, but the "made in Switzerland" sticker seems post war to me for some reason. Maybe it's the font? Labeling country of manufacture that way just doesn't seem like a 1940's thing.

The wear is totally plausible, even for an object made in the early 70's if it was used and abused.
