Thread devoted to all steel pistols, other metals grudgingly allowed.

Side note, I want a Jericho in .45 but I can't find one with a full length barrel? Do they not exist??

is the CZ auto an actual gun or is it just a thing in CS:GO?

is it possible to turn one into an auto
>>
>>28026453
It actually exists. But since it's a FA gun produced after 1986, you won't ever see them state side in civilian hands.

>>

I don't know... i actually asked the guy who sold it to me the same question and he didn't know either. I assume because the omega trigger has less parts it's probably cheaper and easier to produce, while being more durable/robust at the same time.
>>
>>28026766
See, I read those marketing buzzwords and just assume that it has a worse trigger.
>>
>>28026776
I figured the same, but i'd assume if they found a way to make a cheaper trigger with less to go wrong, why not implement it across the line instead of turning it into a marketing thing...who cares if it's worse at that point?

Mind you, i didnt buy it because of the omega trigger, thats what they had in... i traded my HK p2000sk for it. That said, its a great trigger, and if it lasts like they market it, i'll be very happy.

>>
>>28026825
I want to believe it's because their older trigger/pistols have such a big aftermarket/custom following but I'm too cynical for that.
>>
>>28026766
>>28026776
As far as I've heard, the omega trigger gives a better double action pull, and has less parts, making it less expensive.

I've been looking for this fucking gun forever (canik p100, might also be labelled tristar p100)

And now I'm conflicted against buying turkshit considering they're supporting ISIS and letting immigrants into Europe... Still kind of want one, this has to be the best looking variation of any cz pistol ever. Where the fuck do I find it?

Ganderr Mountain sells the 9mm and .40 versions for $479. Buds gun shop has the .40 in for about $100 less, which is to be expected.

Dig around online.. i'm sure you can find one.

Good gun, but NO aftermarket support. Almost everything is for 9/40 models. Go to Zahal.org for at least a kydex holster. Recoil kit is nice too. I found that my stock springs allowed the slide to bottom out and hit the frame everynow and then. Obvious trade off is that it's harder to rack, but I'm in Jersey and can't carry anyway.

Also, no, .45 models are only made in subcompact. The frame is thicker than 9/40 variants, so they really skip on the options.

Damn. I really prefer .45 to .40. Does the weighty steel frame help at all with that snappy .40 recoil?
>>

How well does it carry?
I've been thinking about getting the PCR, but it still feels a bit big.
>>
>>28030759
Only fired my .45. Had I done more research I would have stuck with a 9 or 40 simply for aftermarket. Can't even find grips for the damn .45. All I've done is meprolight sights, recoil kit and a simple kydex holster. Hell, IWI who makes the new models with the frame safeties, hasn't even stocked .45 magazines in months.
>>
>>28030993
Cuz who wants an all steel .45 compact? I want a .45 Jericho bad but I'll settle for .40 if that means a full length barrel

Do you just point guns at your dick and pull the trigger all the time? You don't need a safety if you use common sense.
>>
>>28032415
FN does not, nor did FEG, but FM (Argentinean manufacturer) does make a compact. They call it the "Detective" model. I desperately want one.

I believe Arcus also makes a short, 4" Hi Power clone.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is it?
>>
>>28032937
It's a Browning High Power.

It must have been made prior to 1962 because it has an internal extractor.

It might be very early production indeed, since it has the "thumbprint", which I believe was phased out pretty early on, but I don't remember when.

Also it's got the tangent sights, which I think might indicate it was paired with a shoulder stock at one time. The "Capitan" civilian models with tangent sights were all post-'62, external extractor models, iirc.

All that's totally off the top of my head, if I'm spreading around misinformation somebody tell me.
>>
>>28032711
Safeties exist because most people that shoot themselves do so while holstering their weapon. You'll keep doing it until it becomes casual then BANG. DICKLESS.
