I own a Russian Baikal IJ70 - 18A 9mm Makarov. Those who are familiar with Makarovs know that the only difference between the commercial Maks and the military Maks is adjustable rear sights on the commercial ones. Does anyone know how I can obtain the screw that would allow me to adjust the rear sights from left to right?

I guess you aren't familiar with Makarovs then.

Cz 82s are the superior 9mm Makarov pistol.

Just saying, those sights tend to come extremely loose after a couple thousand rounds: would totally recommend getting the 'fixed' rear sight for that model.

you're boned if you ever break a spring and more small, finicky parts means more failure points.
also
>can't even detail strip your own gun.
you're what's wrong with America

This

The mag release is a common failure point. Mine can only release from one side, due to wear. Yes I am going to buy replacement parts to fix it, and you need 4 parts just to repair this issue.(#43,44,45 and 46)

Having done this repair myself, (CZ-82 was my first handgun, mag release was very stiff and only worked from the right side) I can tell you it will take all of 20 minutes to complete.

Just make sure to break it in before you shoot it lest you experience mag lock. Repeatedly inserting/ejecting magazine will work fine. Make sure to clean every non new part thuroughly, and oil the mechanism well before you put it back together.
>>
>>27971579
Correction, make sure to use a loaded magazine. You are breaking in the point where the release contacts the notch in the magazine so extra tension is ideal.
>>
>>27971579
Yea, I've actually taken it apart and reassembled already to check if I could tell if any one part was noticeably worn (they weren't which was odd). Where did you buy the parts?
>>
>>27968371
best bet is to check numrich gun parts.

but then again, why not try taking JUST the slide into your local ACE and trying to fine a screw to fit. Threads are more than likely Metric, so I would start there.

As for all these faggots taking about a CZ82, are you all autistic morons? Keep the thread on topic, and go back to your CZ circlejerk threads. Ill be sure to show ya some love n post "CZ ashit" at least once.

Then make a CZ thread, moron

Directly from CZ USA, the mag release parts between the CZ-83 and CZ-83 are completely interchangeable.

Magazine Catch Spring 83 (0330065001)
Magazine Catch Lever Pin 83 (0330064001)
Magazine Catch Lever (0330062001)
Magazine Catch 83 (0330061001)
Mag Catch Push Button (0330060101)

I gotta stress cleaning the mag release/trigger guard assembly, really get in there with q tips if you need to. I didn't clean everything very well the first time and it felt worse than before I installed the new parts. Remember you are mixing new and used parts so break in is key.
