I have an M65, too. Are the proprietary filters rated to filter out shit nowadays? Would it be easier just to get a 40mm thread adapter and use NATO filters?
I have some glorious czechnological marvel that I only got because they were like 2 for $10 at some mall ninja airsoft website. I should probably determine if I can get modern filters for it, because my town is prone to earthquakes and riots and stuff and it might be useful one day.

Most if not all military gas masks have prescription glasses inserts. You'd need to find a set and then get the lenses you need fitted into them.

Industrial dust masks and respirators are a pretty common thing, they just get lumped in with 'gas masks' by normies who don't know the difference.
Respirators/masks can be useful for a variety of jobs. Not 24/7, obviously, but there's some tasks that require them.

The M61 and M65 are from completely different countries and look nothing alike. Pic related is an M65.
M61 = Finnish copy of the US M9A1 mask
M65 = West German gas mask.
Regardless, just get an adaptor and use modern 40mm filters. Would you rather trust modern, readily available and trustworthy filters, or shit old 1960s snownigger filters?
