Is this the gun to kill the Saiga?
bumping for interest

Considering it looks ugly as fuck, has been around for a while, and has inferior aftermarket, no.

It's a neat gun, but I think it's lame how they tried to make it look like a retarded AR. The semi-auto combat shotgun market is sparse enough that an original design would have sold.
Doubt it. It looks cheap and tinny, especially the mags.
No, this is.

>ar pattern
>inferior aftermarket
>>27948058
what would that thing accept from an AR?
>>27948058
>grips
>stocks
>muzzle devices
>magazines
Hey maybe I'm wrong and it actually takes drop in Timneys.

Its not an AR though, its "AR styled". I doubt that it would accept any AR hand guards and neither the grip nor the stock are removable. Its only got a toprail so all you can really add is glass. Yes, its true that the AR has a massive aftermarket, but that's a moot point because this thing takes advantage of none of it.
I own one, and I can safely say no.
>feels cheap
>no after market at all
>NO after market
The thing only looks like an AR on the outside. It does not function like an AR at all. There are no part similarities at all. Luckily I only paid $300 for mine.

No.
Reason: ban states. Saigas are rifle grip and thus not "scary". Same for Mossbergs.

Does it run well though?
This has me thinking. Would it be possible to build a shotgun from an AR? 20Ga shells seem like they'd fit in the mag well at least

Around 2007 I saw an Israeli made .410 upper reciever being sold in a gun store in cali. It was supposed to be intended as less lethal usage in the Israeli military and could run on an AR lower, so it was just a swap of uppers. I have never seen one again. Now thay would be cool.

Its been done with an AR10, but it takes proprietary shells IIRC.

They already make .410 uppers for AR-15's.
There's a company that showed off an AR-10 shotgun using a new rimless round, though.

is the lower receiver, stock, grip all one piece? just terrible
>>27947993
I threw up a little in my mouth, that might be the alcohol though

Hi guys thanks for tuning into another video from forgottenweapons.com I'm Ian and today we are looking at a dead end shotgun that was marketed to be ARlike to get sales but was nothing more than a plastic body dressed up gas operated remmington shotgun that fed form a magazine. It only looked like an ar it featured none of it's operating designs. It came out, no one cared and it died a slow elongated death over the course of several years. Frankly no one misses it and everyone preferred the Saiga 12 as it is a true AK operating shotgun with a better price point and more versatile aftermarket parts. Thanks for watching I hope you enjoyed this video stay tuned next week when we look at another failed gimmick shotgun from turkey, the UTS 15

Kek nigger that thing has as much in common with an ar as much as a 715t does. A fucking plastic shell shaped like an ar with a completely different action tucked in it
