What's a good non-AR pattern 9mm carbine/PDW/pistol?

The Nitescout 9mm fits the criteria, but I'm expanding my options. Are there any more affordable 9mm AK variants? All I've seen is the AKX9 and that's way more than I'd pay for a 9mm rifle.

All I know is that I've been very interested in this thing since I saw it a few years back. It even takes glock mags.
>>
Define affordable. Kit made sten guns are about $6-700. I want one, but I don't know if a gun made from literal pipes is worth that much, much less one that is semi auto only and with dumbass nfa laws.

I've been thinking about one of these. Why not a 9mm AR though? Any particular reason op?

I'd say $600 tops. $700 if it's badass.

The Scorpion is nice. That's one of the models I had in mind as an option.
I'm just not a fan of ARs and real tired of the AR profile and overall look.

>>27940678
That doesn't look cheap.

I used to sell Nitescout. Broke one in under 100 rounds. They're turds. If they took MP5 stocks they would be marginally better, but still shit.
>>
>>27942894
Have you used any of the GSG 22LR MP5 clones? Those would interest me more if 22LR was a better round. I don't use 7.62, 5.56, and 9mm.

You're welcome :)

They're alright. I've sold several and never heard back about them not working.
>>
From the stuff i've shot, heres what i'd recommend.
>Calico Liberty 1
>INDEP Lusa (gun the nitescout is based off of)
>Just Right Carbine
>Ruger Police carbine
>Taurus CT-9 Variants
>PPS 43C

I have two. One normal mp5 and one mp5k. They're both great and a ton of fun to shoot. For some reason the mp5k model tends to jam more, but I was also shooting remshit ammo at the time and it's been a while since I've shot it. I do recommend them as a fun gun since 9mm mp5s are not going to be nearly as cheap any time soon.

Glock 19 with a stock on it.

CX4s are nice and compact and can sometimes be had for $600 or a little under that. I personally have a Masterpiece Arms Mac 11 clone (the MPA930SST) with a Primary Arms micro dot that I shoot with a single point sling like pic related to stabilize it, at 75 yards my groups with that are only a couple inches larger than my groups with my SKS. I'd highly recommend using a single point sling with any of the various large pistols/pistol versions of rifles.

Pretty sure those have problems, they're made by IO last time I checked.

>>27944256
Do you have any photos of your setup? I was looking at the MPA pistol and I'm interested in what you've got on

One important thing though, the new anti slap hammers aren't built to last, the disconnector breaks to damn easily. Pick up one of the old model hammers and rubber trigger covers and you'll be good. Also the rail is Weaver spec and not Picatinny, so some mounts might not work (I very carefully enlarged one of the slots on mine to Picatinny spec with a file so I could use the QD mount I have on there, took a bit of time because I was regularly measuring my process with a caliper to make sure I stopped when the width of the slot was within Picatinny spec), pretty sure the normal Primary Arms micro dot mount would work though.

Is that a flash can or a brake of some sort?
>>
>>27944725
It's a .223 version of the Bulgarian 4 piece flash hider. I just got it because it's lighter and shorter than the fake suppressor that comes with the gun while still keeping my fingers from getting in front of the barrel. I put the web of my left hand between my thumb and pointer up against the charging handle and wrap my fingers around the gun in front of the trigger guard while shooting, it's much more secure than just grabbing the fake suppressor.

9mm MP7 when?
Also. I think LWRC just made one

I've always wanted one of those MPA, alot of shit is hard to get in my nazi state.

I'm looking at an MK760 semiauto carbine now. It's based on the Swedish K and S&W 76, used by the US in Vietnam in between issuing the WW2 Grease Gun and 1980s MP5.

Is $1000 ok for good condition & 3 magazines? I live in a shit state and it's preban.
>>
>>27947330

>$1000 for pre-ban anything

Sounds good to me
>>
>>27946762
You mean the B&T MP9, which is by all accounts better anyway
>>
>>27940486
You can buy a 922r compliance SBR setup from CZ. Original side-folding stock (which I think looks the best) as well as some random made-in-the-US stuff. That said, 922r compliance really doesn't matter for the end user.

HK slap means that if I ever feel posessed to get a PCC, oversized "pistol", or SBR in 9mm, I'm going straight for the skorpion if I decide I'm too cheap for a n mp5 clone
