Hey /k/ I am looking to buy my first handgun and was looking at some berettas I found one of these for $560 is that a pretty good deal? Is there anything else I should possibly look at for a first buy? I'm not really looking for any larger calibers either.

if your are dead set on a 92 cause movies etc get one but there are many more handgun choices in that price range that arent as large and bulky while holding the same amount or more of bullets. im not going to say its heavy people always say that they are heavy but its only average.

Thanks I actually own a .32 but I got it from my father I just wanted to actually buy something to have and to be honest I just like the way they look I have rather large hands so I think it would fit my hand well I've shot it before and I've enjoyed it but have not looked at anything else.

It'll eat whatever brand ammo you give it, as well. Make sure you one that comes with 15 round magazines; mine came with two 10 rounders.

Get a 92s. It sounds like you're on a budget. It's 200$ cheaper but it has a heel magazine release.
Not OP here, but can anyone recommend me a revolver for HD/CC? Poorfag college student who just turned 21 here. Need something cheap and reliable until I can save up for something nicer.

Beretta BDA 380 Was my first. Love it still. Little browning medallions fell off after a couple plinking sessions though. But no biggie.

Nagant revolvers are shitty for CC. Something like an 18 pound DA trigger, really slow reload, not drop safe in the slightest.
$560 is a fair price where I live if you go to a shop, but I'd suggest a Taurus 92 or 99. I know /k/ talks shit about Taurus but I swear by them. The Taurus 92 by comparison is supposedly slightly more accurate than the Beretta, and I think factory mags hold two more rounds. To top it off you'll save yourself an easy $100 and have a lifetime warranty. But if you're set on the Beretta there's definitely wrong with them.

taurus revolvers are okay, and the pt92 is good, because it's something not even Taurus could fuck up, seeing as how they used one of beretta's old factories. Saying Taurus as a whole is good isn't very accurate. I do like my pt92 though. never had a problem. and anyone I've shown it to agrees that the safety is in a much better spot.
