I am looking into something as well.
I own a nice Benelli pump action shot gun, but I would like to add a handgun to my home defense.
I really like the aesthetics of the colt models, but I've heard they are not super friendly for handgun beginners. Should I go something of more a 9mm, like a glock or baretta or stick to my guns and get a colt?
