So what's /k/'s opinion on the Walther PPQ? I've been thinking about picking one up, preferably with a threaded barrel just in case the hearing protection act passes.

Great if you get an M1.

I sold my M2 that I bought after they had stopped making the M1 for a while and before the VP9 came out. Now I'm torn between picking up a VP9, a PPQ .45, or a P226.

It's okay, but I did sell it after getting a Glock 19 and realizing that I preferred the Glock over the PPQ but that is all preference and ymmv.

I have 3 of them. great guns. if you want a 9mm or 40 get the M1. Unfortunately you dont have a choice with 22 or 45

Why must the VP45 take so long? I don't want a PPQ .45

What's the difference between the M1 and M2? How's the VP9 compared to it? I'm thinking about picking up a USP in .40 because HK makes good guns and I like the USP.

M1 has the paddle release like your pic. M2 has the button like this and they use different mags If you prefer the button thats fine but most people who bought the original PPQ prefer the paddle release.

I personally think the PPQ is just as nice as the VP9. The trigger is better if you value a lighter and crisper break, however if you want a shorter and slightly heavier pull, the VP9 is the way to go.

The difference between the M1 and M2 is going to be the magazine release and magazines.

The M1 is the paddle release version and the M2 is the standard button mag release. The M1 mags are not compatible with the M2. That said, they are the same magazines that are used in the P99, though M2 magazines are easier to find in stores these days.

Honestly, it's all preference. I liked my PPQ a lot. I don't really regret selling it, but I'd recommend it. When I got my Glock 19, it was smaller, easier to carry, and felt better in my hands. The PPQ was just too thin of a grip for me even with the large backstrap on it.

What do you guys think of the CCP?

I'm just mad at them for not making the PPQ .45 with an M1 variation.

Any word on whether or not this will fit in 9mm PPQ holsters?
>>
>>27934669
I liked the paddle release, then again I've only shot the M1 and liked it a lot. Probably my favorite 9mm that I've shot. Might even make it my 3rd carry gun between my Glock 20 and 1911.

Personally it's my favorite full size handgun.
Now maybe it's just me, but it fits perfectly in my hands and every shot I placed effortlessly on target.

That doesn't mean it will be a fucking god gun to you, but for me it's basically the best thing since crack

Ya me too. If they ever do release one I'm trading in. But I doubt they ever will.
Depends on the holster I would imagine. The 45 ppq's barrel is a tad bit longer and grip is a tad bit longer then the m1 ppq 9mm. The rear sights are even in this picture.

If it isn't a PPQ, P99, PPK, or PPS, I personally wouldn't bother with it. You'd probably be better off just looking for a sale on an M&P if you are on a budget. M&P's are actually really nice. Especially for the going rate of $450-470.

>>27934878
If you absolutely have to have a hammer fired gun I guess its fine but if you dont mind striker fired I'd get an E9 over it.

I have the PPQ navy. . Never any problems, comfy grip, sexy trigger. Paddle mag release master race, obviously.

recommend/10

P320 compact vs ppq?

I was looking at the M2 version though since I don't really like paddle mag release
>>

P320 has a shittier trigger and a higher bore axis.

I'm not even a big fan of the P320, but you should leave and never come back.
>>
>>27938621
Both of these things are true, you retard. In aggregate, reviews suggest that the PPQ's trigger is crisper and has a shorter reset. And the bore axis is slightly lower than the P320's.

Learn the difference between brandwhoring and actual fact.
